Erath - A Memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Elmer Kellum Davis, Jr., age 73. Mr. Davis, a native of Whitestone, Virginia and a resident of Erath passed away at his residence in Erath on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 5:28AM. Mr. Davis was born on November 1, 1934 in Whitestone, Virginia. Mr. Davis was a retired pilot on a fishing boat. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Daphne Davis of Erath; one son Elmer Kellum Davis, III and wife Linda of Glen Allen, Virginia; one daughter, Linda Page Davis Bryant, and husband Jim of Kilmarnock, Virginia; one step-daughter; Deborah Hinson; two step-grandsons Joshua Hinson, and Adam Greene; one step-grandaughter Katy Greene; and one sister Margaret Page James and husband Sonny of Whitestone, Virginia. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Kellum Davis, Sr., and Raymond Doris McKenny Davis.
