New Iberia- Funeral Services will be conducted for Rita J. Sis Broussard on Tuesday March 21, 2006 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Salvino (Rubin)Primor officiating. A private interment will follow at a later date at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 9:00AM till services. Rosary Service will be prayed by Chantelle Smith at 11:00 AM. Musical selections will be performed by Chantelle Smith. She died Sunday evening at 8:15PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin, La. A native of Weeks Island she had been a resident of Lydia for many years. She was a lab technician at Morton Chemical retiring after 41 years of service. She is survived by two brothers and one sister. Thomas Broussard and Robert Broussard Jr. and wife Lorraine all of Lydia. Betty B. Derouen and husband Irving of New Iberia. Two sisters in law Mrs. Wilbert Glorious Broussard of Lydia and Mrs. Charles Peggy Broussard of New Iberia. Seven nieces and one nephew , Carleen Smith and Lela Frederick both of New Iberia, Toni LaLa of Lafayette, Shelia Herpin of Scott , Roxanna Gates and Nancy Picou of Lydia, Rose Casey of Fort Worth, Texas and Thad Broussard of Erath. A special cousin Mrs. Harold Bernadette Morris of Lydia, La. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Houston Broussard and May Dartez Broussard , two brothers Wilbert J. and Charles J. Broussard and a nephew Dax Broussard. Pallbearers will be Tyler and Thad Broussard, Warren LaLa, James Smith, Ralph Herpin and Ray Picou. Honorary pallbearers will be her seven neices named above, Holden Broussard Ruth Broussard, James Frederick, Steve Gates and Kerry Casey. Special thanks to Drs.
