Laudry D. Lacour

Abbeville- Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 2 PM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville for Laudry Duhon Lacour,78. Laudry was born on February 28, 1928 and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette at 10:30 AM. She was resident of Abbeville, La. She was a member of the Ladys Auxillary Altar Society. The Rev. Mathew Mullamangalam will conduct the funeral mass with burial to follow at St. James Church Cemetery in Esther, Louisiana. Reading the Holy Scriptures for the funeral will be Cheryl Dixon. She is survived by her husband Hebron Jim Lacour of Abbeville; two sons, Donald Lacour and Carroll Lacour, both of Mouton Cove; three brothers, Curtis Duhon of Youngsville, Linus Duhon of Abbeville, and Theard Duhon of Lafayette; and one sister, Sabel Turner of Maurice. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and four great grand children. She is preceded in death by her father, Mayo Duhon, and her mother, Agnes Breaux Duhon. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, April 3, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM and continue Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 8 AM until time of service at 2 PM. A Rosary will be prayed Monday evening at 7 PM.
