Loving mother and grandmother JEANERETTE " Services for Mrs. Cecil Christmas, the former Gladys Kleigen, 75, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006 at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at David Funeral Home. A native of St. Paul, Minn., and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Christmas died at 12:05 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006, at Maison Teche Nursing Home. She is survived by two sons, Michael Silva and wife Sheri of Franklin, and Albert Silva and wife Lee of St. Paul, Minn.; four daughters, Roberta A. Martin and husband Duane of Clearlake, S.D., Theresa M. Botts and husband Jerry of St. Paul, Minn., Debra K. White and Roxanne M. Seaman and husband Jim of Picayune, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Christmas was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Christmas; parents, Albert and Beatrice Brauintil Kleigen; and first husband, Norbert Silva. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of the arrangements.
