Youngsville - Funeral Services for David "Big Dave" W. Brewer, 48, of Youngsville will be held on Tuesday, March 28,2006 at 10:00AM at David Funeral Home Parlor with Rev. Robert Richardson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2006 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 from 8:00AM until services, with interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Broussard. Mr. Brewer died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Abbeville General Hospital. Dave was employed with Samson Rope Technologies in Broussard for the past 17 years. He enjoyed horse races, Nascar racing, fishing, and going to the casino. He is survived by his wife, Debbie O'Connor Brewer of Youngsville; a son, Zack Brewer, of Youngsville; a step-son, Andy Hollier of Broussard; a step-grandson Dominick Hollier of Broussard; and his mother, Christine Harp Zuniga He is preceded in death by his father, Renner Brewer. Pallbears will be, Andy Hollier, Roy and Peter O'Connor, Ted Broussard, Steve Bourque, Ron Bryant, David O'Neal, and Don Bishop. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
