NEW IBERIA - Services for Richard H. "Bruce" Broussard, 82, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Derise officiating.Interment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at David Funeral Home. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Broussard died at 3:39 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Iberia Medical Center. Mr. Broussard was a member of McIlhenny Detachment Marine Corp. League. He is survived by his wife Joyce Comeaux Broussard of New Iberia; three daughters, Wynette Kees of Baton Rouge, Janell Simpson and husband Allan of New Orleans, and Denise Broussard of New Iberia; a son, Brian H. Broussard of New Iberia; three sisters, Yvette Harvey of New Iberia, Yvonne Brummet of New Orleans and Evelyn Davis of New Iberia; a brother, Rogers Broussard of New Iberia; seven grandchildren, Jarett and Jessica Landry, both of New Iberia, Luke, Claire and Alia Simpson, all of New Orlerans, Ben and Jacob Kees, both of Baton Rouge; and loving dogs, Nub and Mike. Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Verna Bouterie Broussard. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
