Irene Lasseigne Mouton

November 20, 1921 — July 5, 2006

New Iberia.A mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Albert David Mouton, the former Irene Lasseigne, Age 84, will be celebrated Friday July 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Nativity Of Our Lady Catholic Church with Father Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow at Nativity Of Our Lady Mausoleum. A rosary will be prayed Thursday July 6, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday July 6 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will reopen Friday July 7 from 8:00 AM till time of services. Mrs. Mouton was a native of St. Martinville and a resident of New Iberia. She was a member of Nativity Of Our Lady Catholic Church, a former member of the church choir and the Ladies Alter Society. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Albert David Mouton of New Iberia, A Son Clark P. Mouton and his wife Marlene of New Iberia, a grandchild, Chad Mouton and his wife Laurie of LaPlace, La. and a great granddaughter, Amelia Mouton of LaPlace, La. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Dewey Lasseigne and Rosa Boutte Lasseigne and a son Gregory Mouton Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chad Mouton, Butch Decou, Kirk Segura, Andrew Mouton, Bobby Boudreaux and Harry I. "Bud" Oswalt, III David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
