Eula May Trimble

Jeanerette.Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Eula May Trimble, Age 92, Friday July14, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Trimble died Wednesday July 12, 2006 at 6:23 PM in a New Iberia Nursing Home. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday July 13, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume Friday July 14, 2006 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Thursday July 13, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Trimble was a native and life long resident of Jeanerette. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Trimble to Hospice Of Acadiana 2600 Johnston Street Suite 200 Lafayette, LA 70503. Prior to her retirement she was a medical assistant for Dr. Leon Slipakoff for 26 years and Dr. Clyde Landrum for 2 years. She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking. Mrs. Trimble is survived by a son, Jesse Avery Martin, Sr. of Louisiana., one sister, Mrs. Ida Kapp of Lydia, La. And one brother, Roland Trimble of Atlanta, GA., one grandson, Jesse Martin, Jr. of Port Barre, one granddaughter Veronica Taylor, and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Trimble was preceded in death by her parents, James John Trimble and Louviena Hubbard Trimble, four brothers, Robert Trimble, Lawless Trimble, Earl Trimble and Harry Trimble and two sisters, Ethel Bodin and Nora Guiberteau. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Frank Guiberteau and Bert Guiberteau. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of funeral arrangements.
