Jeanerette " A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Allan Landry the former Daisy Bell Migues at 10:30AM Monday July 17, 2006 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Johns Mausoleum. A rosary will be recited at 6:30PM Sunday in the funeral home. Visitation will begin Sunday July 16, 2006 from 4:00PM till 10:00PM and again Monday from 8:00AM till services. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette. She was owner and operator of Guillotte Grocery. She was a member of the VFW auxillary and loved playing bingo. Survivors include a son and daughter Gregory Greg Landry and wife Mei of Jeanerette and Gwenlyn Rogers and husband George of New Iberia. Two brothers Arthur and Jerome Migues both of Jeanerette and Six grandchildren Michael Rogers and wife Sharon, Stephen Rogers and Kathleen Hollier and husband Donald all of New Iberia, Brian Rogers and wife Debbie of Delcambre, Deneen Arabie and husband John of Lydia and Tiffany Landry of Jeanerette. Sixteen great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Allan Landry, her parents Ledier and Enola Sanders Migues, two sisters Madeline M. Morris and Henrietta M. Thibodeaux. Two brothers Martin and Wilbur Migues and one grandson Troy Landry. Pallbearers will be Brian Rogers, Michael Rogers, Stephen Rogers, Cal Rogers, Cory Rogers and Shane Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tiffany Landry, Donovan Hollier, Damian Hollier, Craig Rogers, Arthur Migues and Jerome Migues. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
