New Iberia"Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Polo Viator, the former Aminthe Alma Rouly, 81, of New Iberia will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Mister Jimmy Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., Friday, April 14, 2006 from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M., and Saturday, April 15, 2006 from 8:00 A.M. until service time in David Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Mrs. Viator died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 12:55 P.M. in a local hospital. A native of Lafayette, Mrs. Viator was a longtime New Iberia resident. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she served as an usher. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, cooking, and visiting with friends and family. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Touchet Labit and husband, Nelson of Centerville, Norma J. Hebert of Abbeville, and Debbie V. Comeaux and husband, Neal of New Iberia; son, Joseph Joe Hebert of Alabama; grandchildren, Linda Romero and husband, Rene, Sr. of New Iberia, David Touchet, Diane DeeDee Touchet of Rayne, Patty Touchet of New Iberia, Carmen Tuttie Comeaux of New Iberia, Dawn and Rachel Hebert of New Iberia, T-Joe Hebert of Alabama, Jude Hebert of Lafayette, and Kelly Hebert of Alabama; great-grandchildren, Rene and Louis Bo Romero of New Iberia, Trevor Hebert of California, Jacob, Caleb, and Brittany Hebert of Alabama, and Lauren Hebert of Lafayette; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Preceding Mrs. Viator in death are her husband, Paul Polo Viator; parents, Andrew and Victoria Romero Rouly. Serving as pallbearers Diane DeeDee Touchet, Carmen Comeaux, T-Joe Hebert, Raymond Babin, Neal Comeaux, and Louis Bo Romero. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
