Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating for Mr. Loto J. Lolo Louviere, Sr., 92, who died on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 3:15 AM in Belle Teche Nursing Home and Rehilibation Center in New Iberia, LA. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the David Funeral Home in Loreauville from 9:00 AM till services. A rosary will be prayed on Saturday at 11:00 AM. A native and life long resident of Loreauville, Mr. Louviere was a retired sugarcane farmer. He will be remembered for his sweet gentle way, a ready smile and a twinkle in his eyes. He is survived by his wife, Leah Berthelot Louviere; his sons, Irving Louviere and his wife Agnes, Loto Louviere, Jr. and his wife Gail, Larry Louviere and his wife Connie and a daughter, Linda Guillot and her husband Jerry all of Loreauville, LA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his father, Fernest Louviere; mother, Velvina Segura Louviere; grandsons, Kenneth Louviere and Francois Guillot; brothers, Arile and Demest Louviere and sisters, Emerite Peltier and Viola Broussard. Pallbearers will be Reynolds Louviere, Irving Vin Louviere, Jr., Warren Louviere, Christian Guillot, Jeremy Louviere and Brent Louviere. Honorary pallbearers will be Kernis Peltier, Dennis Doucet and Willie Carbo. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of arrangements.
