Ida Hazel Touchet

July 16, 1932 — April 12, 2006

Erath - Funeral services for Ida Hazel Touchet, 73, will be held Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 6:00PM. The funeral home will remain open all night till the time of services with a rosary at 7:00PM Wednesday. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mrs. Touchet died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 11:33AM at Abbeville General Hospital. She enjoyed her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Vincent Dupuis and her husband George Dupuis of Erath; two sons, Larry Segura and his wife Gail Segura of New Iberia, and Glenn Toups and his wife LeEllen Toups of Abbeville; a sister Lily Mae Touchet of Delcambre; a brother, Cyrus Touchet of New Iberia; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Saul Touchet and Lydia B. Broussard; a daughter, Sylvia Toups, and a great-grandchild Paige Elizabeth Schexnaider. Pallbearers will be Kevin Schexnaider, Shea Stakes, Shane Vincent, Chad Segura, Kenneth Clostio, Jr., and Joey Segura. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling arrangements
