Janet Lopez Braun

New Iberia- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles Braun the former Janet Lopez at 2:00PM Sunday at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Richard Fabre officiating, interment will be at St. Nicholas Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday July 29th 2006 from 2:00PM till 10:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM. and resume Sunday from 8:00AM till time of service. She died Thursday July 27th 2006 at 10:02 PM at a local hospital.

Janet was a person who cared for everyone. She enjoyed going to the casino and being with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband Charles Braun of Lydia, a step son and step daughter, Charles Braun II and Anita Braun both of Rynella, her mother Mildred Migues Lopez of Lydia, ten sisters and one brother, Thelma Daigle, Ida Ryder and Elizabeth Theriot all of New Iberia, Leslie Gary, Nancy Latiolais, Theresa Leonard, Helen Lester and Marlene Luent all of Lydia, Peggy Morris of Royse City, Texas, Barbara Snyder of Houma, La. and Sylvester Lopez, Jr. of Jeanerette. She was preceded in death by her father Sylvester Lopez, Sr., one sister, Gladys Lopez and a nephew Keith Louviere.

Pallbearers will be Sylvester Lopez, Jr., Jack Romero, Rusty Gary, Elton Latiolais Jr., Brian Lester and Charles Braun II. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Luent, Cheryl Perez, Craig Perez, Elton Latiolais III, Paul Romero, Rudy Migues, Robert Lester, Jr., and Ricky Theriot, Jr.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
