Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard for Flossie Broussard Langlinais, 94, who passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at 4:50 p.m. at Maison de Lafayette. The Rev. Louis Richard will officiate at the funeral service. Readers will be Daniel and Jeanne LaPointe. Musical selections will be performed by Jodi Bollich. Pallbearers will be Allen Miller, Randy Miller, Patrick Dubois, Jonathan Dubois, Louis Guidry and Terry Watkins. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart mausoleum. Born on February 20, 1912, Ms. Flossie is the daughter of Cyprien and Josephine Broussard. She was a native of Broussard and a graduate of Broussard High School. Survivors include her niece Melba Dubois and her husband Lennard Joe and nephew Billy Miller and his wife Wanda, great nephews, Randy Miller, Allen Miller, Patrick Dubois, all of Lafayette and niece Janice Watkins of Atlanta; 8 great- great nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clement Langlinais, and her sister Eunice Miller. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at David Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at 8 a.m. until services. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff, nurses and administration of Maison de Lafayette for the care that was given to Ms. Flossie during her stay.
