Erath - Rita Migues Lange, 83, of Erath, passed away at 1:55 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2006, in Abbeville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Erath. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum, in Delcambre. Readers for the Mass include Pat Trahan and Frankie Romero. Family members will serve as gift bearers and pallbearers. Born on June 24, 1922, in Iberia Parish, Mrs. Lange worked in the Dietary Dept. for the Erath Hospital, for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and was a great mother. Survivors include her children, Gerald Lange and wife Abegale of Erath, Janelle Romero and husband Cebre of Erath; grandchildren, Carla Hebert of Erath, Marcus J. Romero of Erath, Joseph Chris Lange of Milton, and Erica Lange Toups of Lafayette Parish; 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Lange; parents, Antoine and Lucille Leleux Migues; sister, Marie Segura; brother, Stephen Migues. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at David Funeral Home, in Erath. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue Thursday, from 8:00 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Erath is in charge of the arrangements.
