JeaneretteMarie Louise Allain, 7, died Friday February 24, 2006 at 3:45PM at her residence in Jeanerette, La. Funeral services will be held Monday February 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday February 26, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday February 28, 2006 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Sunday February 27, 2006 at 6:30 PM. Marie was a native and resident of Jeanerette. She attended St. Josephs School and was a cowboy team cheerleader. She loved dancing, singing, cheering, coloring, crafts, and music. To know her was to love her. Marie is survived by her parents, David J. Allain and Carrie Mannina Allain of Jeanerette, La., Two brothers, Victor J. Allain and Andrew D. Allain both of Jeanerette, La, her maternal grandparents, Millard Mannina and Marie Lou Mannina both of Jeanerette, Paternal grandmother, Suzanne P. Allain of Jeanerette, La. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bryan Allain. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Pat Mannina, Clint Bishop, Steve Mannina, and David Falterman. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Mannina, Johnny Mannina, Richard Dickie Mannina, Randy Allain, John Allain, Michael Allain, and Andrew Allain. The family requests memorial contributions are made to St. Josephs School in Jeanerette, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Or Hospice of Acadiana.
