Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial for Edith Domingue Delahoussaye Fontenot, 85, will be held Saturday, May 20, 2006 at St. Annes Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, May 19, 2006 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 8:00AM until services, with interment following at St. Annes Cemetery. Mrs. Fontenot a native of Vermilion Parish, and a resident of Lafayette died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 2:00AM at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Melvin Fontenot of Lafayette; a daughter, Beatrice Bergeaux of Lafayette; a brother, Leewood Domingue of Erath; a sister, Eunice Mouton of Abbeville, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Phelicier Domingue and Eva Gutierrez Domingue; her first husband Charles Delahoussaye; and six brothers, Edier, Willie, Edward, Dudley, Ledia, and J.C. Domingue Pallbearers will be family and friends David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling the arrangements
