Jeanerette La. " Funeral services will be conducted for Julia R. Stroud Age. 82 at 10:00AM Monday May 22, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. A rosary will be recited Sunday May 21, 2006 at 6:30PM . Visitation will begin Sunday may, 21, 2006 at 5:30PM till 8:00PM and again Monday from 8:00AM till service time. She died Friday May 19, 2006 at 1:00PM at Consolata Nursing Home in New Iberia. Born in Jeanerette she was member of Sacred Heart Parish in Morgan City. She was a coin collector and loved to paint. She is survived by one son , Stanley Mark Billedeau and wife Nancy of Little Rock Arkansas, one granddaughter Maggie Billedeau also of Little Rock. Two brothers Thomas C. Stroud III of Morgan City, La. and Charles J. Stroud of Labadeville, La. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas C. Stroud Jr. and Julia Foco Stroud. Four sisters Margarette Bagala, Mary Derise, Ruby Blanchard and Ruth Ann Nolan. Pallbearers will be Eddie Landry, Keith Stroud, Shane Stroud, Steven Stroud, Patrick Boyd and Tommy Stroud. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Theriot, Charles Stroud and Gregory Nolan. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
