Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Obray Savoy, Sr. the former Adella Frederick, 95, will be held at St. Theresas Catholic Church on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 10:00AM with Fr. Joe Breaux officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 1:00PM until 10:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, July 3, 2006 from 8:00AM until the services. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Savoy a native of Leblanc and a resident of Abbeville died Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 4:15AM at Eastridge Nursing Center in Abbeville. She was a fun loving person who retired from Trappeys Food Distributor of Lafayette after many years of service.

She is survived by two sons, Aubrey Savoy, Jr. and his wife Helen T. Savoy, and Robert Savoy, Sr. and his wife Helen F. Savoy of Abbeville; a daughter, Leona Hardy of Kaplan; a daughter in law, Sue Savoy of Erath; a brother, Jay Frederick of Abbeville; three sisters, Lena Desormeaux, Elvina Campbell and Marjorie Stelly of Abbeville; nineteen grandchildren, twenty " nine great grandchildren, fifteen great great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Obray Savoy, Sr.; her parents, Felix and Victoria Bourque Frederick; a son, Rodney Joseph Savoy; a son in law, Jay Hardy; three brothers, Ulysee, Didier, and Lloyd Federick; and three sisters, Adelia Hebert, Eunice Savoy, and Josephine Devillier.

Pallbearers will be Glyn Hardy, Kevin Savoy, Robert Savoy, Jr., Scotty Savoy, Jude Soirez, and Tommy Frederick.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy James Savoy, Chad Savoy, Brock Savoy, Craig Savoy, Kenneth Hardy, Dale Hardy, Keith Hardy, Steve Hardy, and Timmy Hardy

David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling the arrangements
