Erika Mannina

Jeanerette- Funeral Services will be conducted for Erika Ayne Peanut Mannina, Age 30, at 10:30AM Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Tuesday August 22, 2006 from 3:00PM till 9:00PM with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Vistiation will resume Wednesday from 8:00AM till time of service. She died Saturday August 19, 2006 at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Erika received her Masters Of Education degree from ULL. She was a schoolteacher with the Iberia Parish School System for four years. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Institute of Learning Styles Research. She was past president of the Jeanerette Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed spending time at the camp with her family.

Survivors include her son Hunter Michael Hebert of Jeanerette. Her Father Steve Mannina of Jeanerette and her Mother Mary Landry Mannina of New Iberia. A very special person in her life, Troy Hebert also of Jeanerette. Two sisters, Andrea and Shayna Mannina, one brother, Michael Mannina II and wife Jamie, maternal grandmother, Dorothy R. Landry, maternal grandfather, Walter Pete Landry, Sr., paternal grandmother, Lou Schexnayder Mannina, paternal grandfather, Millard Mike Mannina, nieces, Bailey and Avery Mannina all of Jeanerette. Nephew , Gavin Landry of Jeanerette. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Paul Landry, Michael Mannina II, Jason Mannina, Brian Faucheaux, Scott Morris and David Mannina. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Dicky Mannina, Johnny Mannina, Pat Mannina and Mark Landry.
