Jeanerette"Funeral services for Mrs. John Trimble, the former Lillian Zell, 82, of Jeanerette will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 3:30 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ralph Landry will officiate. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Trimble passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006 in a New Iberia hospital. A native of Upper Darby, PA, Mrs. Trimble was a longtime resident of Jeanerette. Affectionately known to all who loved her as Lil , Mrs. Trimble loved listening to music, dancing, and reading. She also enjoyed riding in her bus. Survivors include her sons, William Bill Trimble and wife, Dorothy of Coteau Holmes, Robert Bobby Trimble of Jeanerette, David R. Trimble and wife, Melissa of Jeanerette, and Brian K. Trimble of Jeanerette; daughters, Lillian T. Bonin of Coteau Holmes, Shirley LeBlanc of Jeanerette, and Nancy J. Trimble of Jeanerette; and a brother, David Zell of Philadelphia, PA. Preceding Mrs. Trimble in death are her husband, John Trimble; parents, Charles F. and Pauline Green Zell; son, John W. Trimble; brothers, Fred, Gottlob, and Herbert Zell; and sisters, Role Lill, May McBryer, and Elizabeth Thompson. Serving as pallbearers are Mark, Johnny, and Brian Trimble, Chris and Dusty Charpentier, and Tommy Naguien. Named as honorary pallbearers are Wally Bonin, Adam Charpentier, Don Juan LeBlanc II, Stephanie Curtis, and Angela and Roxie Trimble. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
