Loving wife and mother NEW IBERIA - Services for Mrs. Travis A. Nell D. Segura, 80, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Arnaud officiating. Entombment will follow in Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Monday, May 29, 2006 at 8 a.m. until the time of service. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Segura died at 4:05 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006, at New Iberia Manor North. Mrs. Segura was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. She enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She is survived by her husband, Travis A. Segura of New Iberia; a son, Travis J. Segura and wife Sharon of Loreauville; a daughter, Connie S. Olivier and husband Tony Olivier Sr. of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Katie O. Caro and husband John, Tony J. Olivier Jr. and wife Barbara, all of New Iberia, Broc Segura and wife Jenni of Loreauville, Brianne S. Jenkins and husband Brian of Dallas, Texas, Brennen Segura and Cortni Rogers, and Bron Segura and Kristen Bienvenu, all of Loreauville; three great-grandchildren, Molly Anne Caro, Charles Michael Caro, both of New Iberia, and Landen Segura of Loreauville; and two special friends, Rita Foreman and Lucille Audibert, both of New Iberia. Mrs. Segura was preceded in death by her parents, Vellier and Zulmay Etie David; four sisters, Florence D. Weiner, Rita Mae D. Sellers, Rena D. Hebert and Wilda D. Williams; and three brothers, Adam, Richard R.D. and Benny David. Pallbearers will be Tony J. Olivier, Jr., Broc Segura, Brennen Segura, Brian Jenkins, Frank Thibeaux and Bron Segura. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
