Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 11 AM at David Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville for Wilton Pimon Pepper Joseph Morvant, 92 Wilton was born in Milton, LA on December 12, 1913 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at his residence in Abbeville. The Rev. Harry Benefield will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Ouida Bourque Morvant of Abbeville; a son, Clifton J. Morvant and wife Virgina of Stephenville, TX; two daughters, Verna Mae LeBlanc and husband Allen of Abbeville, and Helen Marie Frederick of Erath; a brother Dua Morvant Sr. and wife Ann of Kaplan; his grandchildren, a very close and dear grandon, Michael Simon and wife Lynette, Wilbe J Simon and wife Mary, Jane S. Simon and husband Steve, Randall P. Simon and wife Dona, David W. Simon, Troy A. Simon and wife Donna, Denise Segars and husband Larry, Mark Morvant and wife Candice, Jamie Shumaker and husband Michael, Michelle Moravec and husband Ernest, Nicole Morvant, Bryan Frederick and wife Suzie, and Lisa Trahan and husband Damien. His Great grandchildren, Shawn Simon and wife Stacey, Ryan Simon and wife Bambi, Keith Simon, Tiffany NaQuin, Constance N. Guillot and husband Saul, Joshua NaQuin, Gillian NaQuin, Brandie Simon, Blake Simon, McKenzie Simon, Megan Segars, Jett Moravec, Dillon Shumaker, Keisha Suire, Mattalyn Suire, Dyson Shumaker, and Chelsea Frederick, and his great great grandchildren, Katelyn Simon, Jennifer Simon, Breannah NaQuin, and Alex Guillot. He is also survived by his step great great grandchildren, Amber Bruno, Emily Bruno, Billy Theriot, and Shane Theriot. He is preceded in death by his father Jean Dupre Morvant and his mother Augustine Bourque. Morvant, his grandson, Steven Simon, three sisters, and four brothers. The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday May 30, 2006 from 9 AM till time of service on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed Tuesday evening at 6 PM
