New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Arnaud officating for Mrs. Sandy J. Crochet, Sr., 90, the former Eve T-Chou Borel. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Loreauville. Mrs. Crochet died on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 11:45 AM in Iberia Medical Center. She was a native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia. She was an avid Pokeno and Bingo Player. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home in New Iberia on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and reopen on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 8:00 AM till services. A rosary service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Rita Crochet Viator and her husband Joe of New Iberia; her sons, Larry Crochet and his wife Judy of Loreauville and Sandy Crochet, Jr. and his wife Lynne of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Shane Crochet of Loreauville, Linda Viator McGhee of New Iberia, Charlotte Crochet Durand of Loreauville, Sandy Crochet, III of New Iberia and Joanette Crochet Viator of Loreauville; her great grandchildren, Heather Viator of Lafayette, Miles McGhee of New Iberia, Cullen Crochet, Jordan Durand, Dylan Darbonne, Brennon Crochet all of Loreauville, Bailie Crochet of New Iberia and Kenidi Darbonne of Loreauville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandy J. Crochet, Sr.; her father, Bertin Borel and her mother, Felicie Blanchard Borel. Pallbearers will be Shane Crochet, Gregory Durand, Seth Viator, Randy McGhee, Miles McGhee and Sandy Crochet, III. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
