Antoine "Kiddic" Menard

January 21, 1922 — August 8, 2007

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted Friday August 10, 2007 at 11:00AM at David Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Antoine "Kiddic" Menard, Age 85, who died Wednesday August 8, 2007 at 4:30PM in a local hospital. Deacon John Sarkies will officiate. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00AM till the time of service. A native of Erath Mr. Menard was a resident of New Iberia many years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion and he loved to dance. Survivors include his longtime companion; Ida S. Thibodeaux, step daughter; Joanna Thibodeaux, sister; Anite M. Romero and three step grandsons; Chad J. Landry, Ruffin Walker and Sam Walker all of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents Deluke and Anitia Gaspar Menard, brothers and sisters; Audrey Menard, Isabel M. Suire, Lucia Menard, Salm M. Maturin, Seaux Menard, Estelle Menard, C.D. Menard, Luke Menard, Ada M. Gary, Lois Menard and Ozane Menard. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
