Abbeville " Graveside services for Connie Miquez, 42, of Abbeville were held on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Bancker Cemetery in Henry. Interment followed in the cemetery. Miss Miquez a native and resident of Abbeville died Monday, July 17,2006, at 7:20PM at her residence. She was a Former Member of the Association of Legal Secretaries on both the State and National Levels. She also loved shopping, visiting with friends and watching television. She is survived by her mother, Velta Brasseaux Miquez of Abbeville; one uncle, Leon Miquez, Sr. of Welch; two aunts, Doris Brasseaux of Abbeville, Audrey Kucera, of Amican Falls, ID; god-mother, Alice Faye Tregee of Cacherie; god-father, Stephen Wayne Kucera of Omaha, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Thomas Miquez; her paternal grandparents, Moleon, and Alice Weekly Miquez; her maternal grandparents, Elodias and Chloe Moss Brassueaux.
