Abbeville- Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 10 AM in David Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville for Demery Paul Trahan, 24. Demery was born on January 9, 1982 in Abbeville, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 9:40 AM at his residence in Abbeville. Francis Plaisance will officiate the funeral service with burial to follow at 1 pm in Shell Beach Cemetery in Gueydan, Louisiana. Demery is survived by his mother, Anna Lee Vincent and his father, Isaac Azil Trahan, both of Abbeville; his siblings, Martha Lewis, Tina Comeaux, David Lewis III, Dwayne Steve Lewis, Sundra Trahan, Moondra Bramlett, Charles Trahan and Kayla Trahan; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Demery is preceded in death by a brother, Preston Lewis, his maternal grandparents, Emery and Adella Vincent, and his paternal grandparents, Demas and Agnes Trahan. Serving as pallbearers will be David Lewis III, Dwayne Lewis, Charles Trahan, Farron Comeaux, Joshua Trahan, and Kasem Bourque. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Raven Jones, and Jacob Trahan. The family requests that visitation begin on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 5 pm and continue until the time of service on Thursday, August 31, 2006.
