A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark Owen Derouen, 37, will held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Vistation will resume on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mr. Derouen a native of New Iberia and resident of Erath died at 9:45AM Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Morgan City. He is Survived by his parents, Owen J. Derouen and Margaret Shigley Derouen of Erath; two brothers, Keith Derouen and his wife Rae Ann Derouen of Abbeville and Brandon Derouen of Erath; his maternal grandmother, Marcella Retrum Shigley of Madison, MN; two nephews, Thomas Derouen of Abbeville and Jared Derouen of Erath; and a niece, Danielle Derouen of Abbeville. Pallbearers will be, Keith Derouen, Brandon Derouen, Brian Primeaux, Dane Madson, Dickie Lucas, and Shane Reaux Honorary pallbearers will be, Thomas Derouen,Brady Morgan, Melvin Goins and Shane Sturm David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements.
