Madge Boutte Shaw

October 20, 1945 — July 30, 2006

New IberiaFuneral services will be conducted for Mrs. Loy Shaw, age 60, the former Madge Boutte at 10:00 AM on Tuesday August 1, 2006 in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Jude Halphen Officiating. Mrs. Shaw died Sunday July 30, 2006 at 4:58 AM in a New Iberia Hospital. Visiting hours will be observed Monday July 31, 2006 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will reopen Tuesday August 1, 2006 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Monday July 31, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Shaw was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. She was an animal lover and an avid photographer. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening. She is survived by her husband Loy Shaw of New Iberia, one daughter: Kibby S. Romero and her husband Brandon of New Iberia and one son: Chad Mayfield of New Iberia, two grandchildren: Nicholas Romero and Christian Romero both of New Iberia. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Milton Boutte and Nellie Leleux Boutte, one brother, Harris Boutte and one nephew, Gerald Boutte. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Mayfield, John Barrientos, Loy A. Shaw, Brian Shaw, Eric Shaw and Jason Polendo. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
