Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Mary Detiveaux Garibotte Bergeron, 85, will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at David Funeral Home of Erath from 11:00AM until 12:00PM for family and 12:00PM until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mrs. Bergeron who died on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 7:35PM at Tylertown, MS was a native of Terrebonne Parish and was a long time resident of Erath. She is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Garibotte, Jr. of Bayou Blue, and John Charles Garibotte of Bourg; three daughters, Mary Ann Stutchman of Tylertown, MS, Elizabeth Rein of Shreveport, and Theresa Rodrigue of Chauvin; two brothers, Collins Detiveaux of Houma, and James Detiveaux of New Orleans; one sister, Marceline Babin of Bayou Blue; eighteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph A. Garibotte, her second husband, Henry Bergeron; her parents, Camille Detiveaux and Alice Rogers Detiveaux; one daughter, Alice Mae Devillier; one brother, John Detiveaux; and three sisters, Cecelia Cristomos, Walterine Detiveaux, and Delcy Detiveaux. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling arrangements
