Loving Mother and Grandmother New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 3, 2006 for Mrs. Freddie Badeaux, Sr., 85 the former Anna Meaux at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Travis Brice, Pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum in Jeanerette. A native of Abbeville, a resident of Erath and a former resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Badeaux died on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Abbeville General Hospital. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at David Funeral Home in New Iberia at 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 8:00 AM until services. She is survived by her son, Freddie Badeaux, Jr. of Raceland, LA; son, Alphe A.J. Badeaux of Monroe, LA; son, Lonny Badeaux of New Iberia, LA; son, Donald Badeaux of Rayne, LA; daughter, Vera Proulx of New Iberia, LA; son, Ronnie Badeaux of Victoria, TX; daughter, Brunella Segura of Gilbert, Arizona; daughters, Juanita Darden of Charenton, LA;daughter, Carolyn Maturin of New Iberia, LA; son, Bryan Badeaux of Texas; daughter, Bernadine Marks of Lafayette, LA; sisters, Istelle Newman of Abbeville, LA and Lucy Desormeaux of New Iberia, LA. She also survived by 40 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Badeaux, Sr.; father, Alphe Meaux; mother, Ursula Marie Luent Meaux; son, Guilbert Badeaux; sisters, Rose Desormeaux, Ernestine Desormeaux, Josephine Meaux, Celestine Broussard and brothers, Alfred Meaux, Ameda Meaux, Joseph Meaux and Louis Meaux.
