Howard Jeanminette

Lydia- Funeral services will be conducted for Howard Jeanminette, age 96, at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Donovan Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Mausoleum in Patoutville, LA.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 8, 2009 from 8:00 AM until services at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia, LA. A rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 10:00 AM.

Mr. Jeanminette died Sunday July 5, 2009 at 8:15AM in Lafayette hospital. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

Remaining to cherish his memory is his son, Whitney Jeanminette, Sr. and wife Linda of Jeanerette; his daughter, Theresa Lois Boutte and husband Achille of Jeanerette; his brother Joseph Jeanminette of California; and his sisters Mable Olivier of Jeanerette and Mary Destouet of Houston, Tx.; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jeaniminette was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Olivier Jeanminette; his parents, Eugene Jeanminette and Margarette Ozenne Jeanminette; a grandson, Will Joseph Jeanminette, a great-granddaughter, Angel Lynn Howard; a brother, Francis Jeanminette; sisters, Isabelle Boutte, Octave Broussard and Rita Jeanminette.

Pallbearers will be Whitney Jeanminette, Sr., Wayne Jeanminette, Wade Jeanminette, Sr., Joshua Jeanminette, Tory Robicheaux, and David Kilchrist, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Achille Boutte, John Louviere, Chris Gradney, Louis Boutte, Carlton Delahoussaye, Richard Boutte, Sr., Louis Thompson, Horace Jeanminette, Eugene Olivier, Sr., Lee Sigue and Gerald Boutte, Sr.
