Chester J. Comeaux

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Chester J. Comeaux, age 87, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Blaine Clement officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2009 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with recitation of a Rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 8:00 until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Comeaux died Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 12:00AM in local health care facility.

Survivors include his sons, Eugene Comeaux and wife Connie and Johnny Comeaux and wife Margaret, all of New Iberia; his daughters, Cindy C. Andrews of Tallahassee, FL. and Jeanette C. Bibb and husband John of Wetumpka, AL.; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Comeaux was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Laviolette Comeaux; his parents, Arthur Comeaux and Antonia Pesson Comeaux; his brother, Edmund Ed Comeaux; and sisters, Macie C. Dubois, Barbara Bobbi Comeaux and Dorothy Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be David Bibb, Stephen Bibb, Beau Comeaux, John Comeaux, Jr., Kyle Andrews and Jeff Andrews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Bibb, Alex Bibb, Tanner Comeaux and Micah Guillot.
