Lafayette...Visitation will be held Friday August 4, 2006 at David Funeral Home at 316 Youngsville Hwy. from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and will resume on Saturday August 5,2006 at 8:00AM until service time, for Bonnie Jean Punch, 29, who passed on to a better place Tuesday August 1, 2006 in Lafayette,La. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, Saturday August 5, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Louis Richard officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Carencro, La. on Monday August 7, 2006. Bonnie was a resident of Lafayette and a graduate of Comeaux High School. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and obtained her Masters Degree in Sociology at LSU State University in Baton Rouge. Bonnie had a very outgoing personality and kind, loving spirit. She loved going to LSU football games, family outings, especially the seashore and enjoyed going to the movies, concerts and Christmas. Bonnie was the beloved daughter of Wilson A. Punch, Jr. and Marion Howard Punch. Loving sister to her twin brother, Joshua and brothers Ryan Punch and Troy Punch. She was a loving aunt to Christopher, Mandy, Courtney, Justin, Colton, Samantha, Gavin, Mica, Taylor and Grace Punch. Bonnie's family and friends are deeply grieved in her passing and will always miss her. She was always ready to help anyone in need, family or friend. We will be strong for you Bonnie and celebrate your life. You have touched everyone with your sweet spirit. Bonnie is also survived by her paternal grandparents Wilson A. Punch, Sr. and his wife Lovinia Punch of Marrero, La. and her maternal grandmother Mary C. Howard of Wichita Falls, Texas. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Henry C. Howard. Pallbearers will be Ryan Punch, Troy Punch, Josh Punch, Kerry Michael Cardinale, Christopher Punch and Patrick Bienvenu. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling all arrangements.
