Robert Harold Curtis

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Robert Harold Curtis, Age 95; at 3:00PM Saturday August 26, 2006 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00AM till services. He died Thursday at 9:00PM at a local nursing home. A native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish Mr. Curtis was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of New Iberia. He enjoyed traveling and has traveled through Europe, Mexico and the USA. . He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Survivors include his nieces, Rita Broussard Viator of New Iberia, Ms. Leona Curtis of Mississippi, Mrs. Beverly Curtis Karl of New Orleans, and Mrs. Jeanne Curtis Boniol of Lafayette and his caregiver for over 30 years Helen Vallian of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents John Curtis, Sr. and Lillian Barthe Curtis; brothers, Carroll Curtis, Sr., James Curtis, John Curtis, Jr., Leon Curtis and Clem Curtis; sisters, Neda Curtis Black, Beatrice Curtis Broussard and Monnie Curtis Rizzuto. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
