Lola Touchet

Lafayette...Funeral services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 10, 2006 for Mrs. E. David Touchet, the former Lola Gerard, 67, who passed away on August 8, 2006. Visitation will begin on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 2:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Thursday August 10, 2006 at 8:00AM until service time. Services will be conducted at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Father Louis Vu and Father Champagne officiating. Interment will be in St. Anne's Cemetery. A native of Youngsville, Louisiana, Mrs. Touchet was residing in Youngsville, Louisiana at the time of her death. Mrs. Touchet is survived by her husband E. David Touchet; one stepson, David L. Touchet and his wife Tammy of Hawaii; two stepgrandsons, Ryan and William Touchet of Hawaii; sisters, Bernice Hebert of Youngsville, Berna Boudreaux of Youngsville and Verna Louise Smith and her husband William; brother Lawless Gerard and his wife Mary of Youngsville; sister-in-law Coranna Gerard; numerous nieces and nephews and many special and dear friends. Mrs. Touchet was preceded in death by her first husband Johnny Judice; her parents Lionel Gerard and Alicia Romero Gerard and one brother, Ivy Gerard. Pallbearers will be; Eugene Dixon, Joey Gerard, Richard Gerard, Bobby Boudreaux, Kirk Touchet and Mark Smith. Honorary Pallbearer will be LeRoy Hebert. David's Funeral Home in Lafayette is in charge of all arrangememts.
