Loreauville.A service celebrating the life of David J. Pelous, Sr., Age 56 will be conducted Friday August 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM at St. Elizabeths Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes with Father Joseph, CMI, pastor of St. Elizabeths Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes conducting the services. Interment will follow in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Mr. Pelous died Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 7:00 PM in a Lafayette Hospital. Visiting hours will be observed at David Funeral Home Thursday August 10, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 12 midnight and will resume Friday August 11, 2006 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Thursday August 10, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Mr. Pelous was a native and resident of Loreauville. He was a welder/fitter in the structural construction business. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Pelous is survived by his wife Mary Ann Sedotal Pelous of Loreauville, two sons, David J. Pelous, Jr. and his fiance Heather of Breaux Bridge and Troy J. Pelous of Loreauville, two daughters, Chantal Monique Burke and her husband Scott of Loreauville and Charlotte Marie Baker and her husband Mayo of Loreauville, his mother Irene Latiolais Pelous of Loreauville, four brothers, Robert Pelous and his wife Linda, Kenneth Pelous and his companion Louella, Curtis Pelous and his wife Bonnie and Christopher Pelous and his wife Judy all of Loreauville, five sisters, Gloria Pelous of Laguna Beach, California, Delores Dee Bonin and her husband Butch, Faye Rebert and her husband Vernon, Sr., Barbara Moore and her husband Rickey and Debra Cherrie and her companion Joseph Hoosier all of Loreauville, grandchildren, Dustin R. Pelous, Christian D. Pelous, Brice E. Pelous, Ashlyn Pelous, Alex Pelous, Laci Pelous, Emily Pelous, Michelle Pelous, Ashley Pelous, Tori Burke, Brennan Pelous, Luke Burke, Matthew Baker, Michael Baker and Mark Baker, One step grandchild, Jamie Mulkey and Two step great grandchildren, Hailey Mulkey and Hanna Mulkey. Mr Pelous was preceded in death by his father Arthur Togan Pelous. Serving as pallbearers will be David J. Pelous, Jr., Troy J. Pelous, Scott Burke, Mayo Baker, Michael Seneca and Chris Pelous. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of funeral arrangements.
