Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Emery Richard the former Lily Vice, 82, will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 3:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Mrs. Richard a native of Ged, LA and a resident of Erath died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Lafayette General Hospital. She was a cook at Morris Lahasky Nursing Home for over 10 years.

She is survived by three sons, Roger Richard and his wife Annie of New Orleans, Ashton Richard and his wife Glenda of Moss Bluff, LA, and Brian Richard and his companion Brenda Goodwin of Erath; three daughters, Florene Richard Romero and her husband Nolan of New Iberia, Sandra Richard Sonnier and her husband Roger of Erath, and Cheryl Richard and her husband Steven Lewis of Erath; two brothers, Alvin Vice and Loveless Vice both of New Iberia; two sisters, Lula Mae Sis Touchet and Ruby Granger both of Erath; sixteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Richard; her parents, Gustave and Lydia Romero Vice; two brothers, Dalton and Robert Vice; and a sister, Eunice Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Shane Romero, Joshua Romero, Trent Richard, Tate Richard, Shannon Sonnier, and Brandon Sonnier.
