Youngsville " Funeral Services for Wilson Craig Ducharme, 62, will be held at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at 1:00PM with Sean Wilcox officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, September 9, 2006 beginning at 1:00PM until 9:00PM, and then resume on Sunday, September 10, 2006 from 9:00AM until the time of services, with interment following at St. Anne Cemetery.
Mr. Ducharme a native of Scott and a resident of Youngsville died Friday, September 8, 2006 at 10:00AM at Youngsville, LA. He was Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Youngsville for over 8 years, and also served as a City Alderman. Mr. Craig was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall of Youngsville and the Youngsville Lions Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Shannon and her husband David Bares of Youngsville; a son, Shayne Ducharme of Youngsville; two step-sons, Daren LaJaunie, and David LaJaunie both of Loreauville; a sister, Sharon and her husband Mark Broussard of Maurice; a step-brother, Kevin and his wife Robin Mouton of Youngsville; a step-sister, Andrea Mouton of Tennessee; two granddaughters, Jamie Ducharme of Virginia, and Bailey Bares of Youngsville; a step-granddaughter, Courtney LaJaunie of Loreauville; four grandsons, Shay Craig Ducharme of Lafayette, Jacob, Joshua, and Jonah Bares of Youngsville; and an uncle, Steele Yockey of Grand Chenier,
He is preceded in death by, his first wife, Joyce Elaine Hebert Ducharme; his second wife, Deanna Viator Ducharme; his parents, Wilson Ducharme and Mary Ann Yockey Mouton; a son, Jamie Craig Ducharme, and a brother, Dana Mouton.
Pallbearers will be J.C. Gallet, Mark Broussard,Dennis Broussard, Brandon, Brian, and Ryan Gallet.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Michael Manasco
David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling the arrangements.
