Timothy James Tauzin

August 10, 1958 — October 12, 2006

Loreauville " A Memorial Mass will be conducted for Captain Timothy James Timmy Tauzin, Age 48, at 2:00PM Friday October 27, 2006 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Paul Onuegbe officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday October 26, 2006 from 2:00PM till 10:00PM with a praying of the rosary at 7:00PM . Visitation will again be Friday from 8:00AM till time of service. Timmy died Thursday October 12, 2006 in St. Mary Parish. He was a boat captain for Central Boat Rentals. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed frogging, fishing and making friends. Timmy enjoyed going to the casino and telling jokes. He loved helping his friends. He is survived by his daughter Brandy Lynn Tauzin of New Iberia, his parents, Jerome Buddy Tauzin and Hilda Bergeron Tauzin of Loreauville, one sister Gwen Tauzin of New Iberia, two brothers Keith Mummy Tauzin and wife Angela and Brian T. Tauzin all of Loreauville, a special friend who was more like a brother Carl E. Morein of New Iberia and a sister-in-law who was more like a daughter Dina O. Talley of New Iberia. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marie O. Bergeron and his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Elmire Granger Tauzin. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of arrangements.
