New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Augustin Judice, the former Laura Viator, 91, will be celebrated on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Mike Arnaud will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Judice passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 8:20 A.M. in a New Iberia care facility.

Mrs. Judice was a wonderful cook who loved nothing more than to see her friends and family being well fed. She enjoyed working in the yard and loved to raise flowers. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Langlinais and husband, Russell of New Iberia; granddaughter, Lisa Boudreaux and husband, Marcus of New Iberia; and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jazzmin, Jorim, and Jade, all of New Iberia.

Preceding Mrs. Judice in death are her husband, Augustin Judice; parents, Clarphe and Elolie Viator; daughter, Shirley Louviere; brothers, Pervis and Leroy Viator; and sisters, Leah Trahan, Edna Boudreaux, and Enola Touchet.

Serving as pallbearers are Gerald Trahan, Jorim Hakins, Marcus Boudreaux, E.J. Touchet, Paul Gary, and Russell Langlinais. Mrs. Judices nephews are named as honorary pallbearers.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
