LOVING FATHER AND GRANDFATHER

New Iberia--A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth Paul Cooney Estilette, 59, of New Iberia will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends of Mr. Estilette will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M in David Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mr. Estilette passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 10:00 P.M. near Cheyenne, WY.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Estilette was a U.S. Army veteran. He had formerly worked as a welder and as a truck driver. Mr. Estilette was owner and operator of Cycle and Hide motorcycle shop, and was an avid motorcyclist who lived life to its fullest. He had made several trips to Sturgis, SD and to Daytona, FL, as well as to other motorcycle rallies and races around the country.

Survivors include his loving companion of 27 years, Elaine C. Martin of New Iberia; loving daughters, Lainey Anne Martin and companion Brett Broussard of New Iberia and Kensey Lee Estilette of New Iberia; grandson, Brayton Paul Broussard of New Iberia; brothers, Donald Estilette of Laurel, MS, Gene Estilette and wife, Bettye of Harlingen, TX, Russell Estilette and wife, Heddy of New Iberia, and Gary Estilette and companion, Earline of Loreauville; nephews, Billy Estilette of New Iberia, Bubba Estilette of Laurel, MS, and Nick Martin of Coteau; nieces, Kim Estilette of Midland, TX, Gabriele Gabby Estilette of Loreauville, Amber Hebert and husband, C.J. of New Iberia, Alison Kimble and husband, Lee of Mesquite, TX, and Tracie Chase and husband, Chris of Indiana.

Preceding Mr. Estilette in death are his parents, Duto J. and Alice Gonsoulin Estilette.

Serving as pallbearers are friends and family, including Elaine Martin, Brett Broussard, and Nick Martin.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
