Florence Olivier Boutte

Mrs. Boutte a native and resident of Grand Marais died at 1:52AM on Tuesday,September 12, 2006 in the home where she was born. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose home was a gathering place where everyone was welcome. She was faithful to her God which was evident by her prayers and her collection of rosary.

She was survived by hersix children, Paul Merlin Boutte,Sr.and his wife VeronicaBoutte of Grand Marais, Moreal Boutte and his wifeWanda Boutte of Baton Rouge, Peter Morran Boutte and his wife Clair Boutte of Beaumont, TX, Melinda Ann Olivier and her husband Benward Olivier of Grand Marais, Macain Boutte and his wife Carolyn Boutte of Lafayette, and Milleson Arceneaux and her husbandTony Arceneauxof Grand Marais; a brother, Clifton Olivier, Sr. of Rochester, NY; two sisters, Lucy Delahoussaye, and Louise Olivier both of Grand Marais; twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Hog Boutte; her parents, Amadee and Virginia BoutteOlivier; six brothers, Arthur Olivier, Amos Olivier, Alcide Olivier, Achille Olivier, Albert Olivier, and June Olivier; four sisters, Natalie Lopez, Agnes Sigue, Julia Destouette, and Lena Jeanminette; and a granddaughter, Melanie Yvette Boutte.

Pallbearers will be Paul Boutte, Jr, Peter Boutte, Jr., Byron Olivier, Sean Arceneaux, Irving Olivier, Gregory Olivier

Family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
