Erath..A Funeral Service for Lloyd Thibodeaux, 89, will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre, La. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 2:00PM with Fr. Bennerfeld officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, August 14, 2006 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre, Louisiana. Mr. Thibodeaux, a native of Henry, a long time resident of Erath, and a resident of Abbeville died Monday, August 14, 2006 at 4:00AM at Eastridge Nursing Home. He was a Dairyman, a dragline operator for Vermilion Drainage District, a member of Erath American Legion and a WWII Veteran. He is survived by two sons, Neil Thibodeaux and his wife Sharon of Erath and Robert Thibodeaux and his wife Gail of New Iberia; two daughters, Monica Langlinais and her husband Justin of Erath and Sandra Broussard and her husband Samuel of Abbeville; Nine Grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Anna Belle Dubois Thibodeaux; his parents Noah Thibodeaux and Enite LeBlanc Thibodeaux; two brothers Roy Thibodeaux and J.P. Thibodeaux; and a granddaughter Angela Thibodeaux. Pallbearers will be Toby Thibodeaux, Carl Broussard, Ted Broussard, Elic Thibodeaux, Beau Thibodeaux and Justin Langlinais. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling arrangements.
