LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER Loreauville"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Clarence Nice Louviere, the former Vernice Borel, 79, of Loreauville will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Reverend Mario Romero will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Louviere passed away on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 1:52 A.M. in her residence. A native of St. Martin Parish, Mrs. Louviere was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a big fan of Bob Barker and The Price is Right , rarely missing the program. Mrs. Louviere was a wonderful cook, and was especially well known for her white beans. She was an animal lover who kept the area dogs and cats well fed. Surviving Mrs. Louviere are her daughters, Bonnie L. Hebert and husband, Bernard of Loreauville, and Judy L. Courville and husband, James, Sr. of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Scott Sonnier and wife, Tara of St. Martinville, James Courville, Jr. and companion, Fran of St. Martinville, Chad Courville and wife, Tanya of Breaux Bridge, Brittany Hebert of Loreauville, and Bailey Hebert of Loreauville; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Louviere in death are her husband, Clarence Louviere; parents, Sylvbio and Lula Blanchard Borel; daughter, Adel L. Sonnier; brothers, Gilbert, Butsy, and Patrick Borel; and sister, Mildred B. Ransonet. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Sonnier, James Courville, Jr., Chad Courville, Ivy Hebert, Lennis Courville, and Dwayne Louviere. Named as honorary pallbearers are Ricko Albert, David Louviere, and Wilton Darby. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of arrangements.
