New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Clyde Bess the former Lois Teetie Gajan, at 3:00PM Friday June 15, 2007 at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00PM till service time. She died Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 12:48 PM at a local hospital. Mrs. Teetie was a native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish. She was a member of the Daughters Of The American Revolution, the First United Methodist Church, Friends Of The Shadows, the Fortnightly Club and was a long time tour guide for the Shadows. She was an avid bridge player and remained involved in the Sugarcane Industry. She is survived by two daughters; Nancy Beall and husband Leber of Irving, Texas and Betty Walton and husband Richard of Bay City, Texas, two grandsons; Rob Beall of Austin, Texas and Richard Walton and wife Ann of San Antonio, Texas and two great granddaughters; Claire and Kate Walton of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; Clyde Bess and her parents; Wade and Maxie Taylor Gajan. Pallbearers will be Richard Walton, Rob Beall, Charlie Simmons Keith Babin, Brett Freyou and Justin Freyou. Honorary pallbearers will be Guyton Watkins, Dracus Burke and Lawrence Freyou. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
