Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Louis Broussard, the former Wolla Guidry, age 75, Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:00AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 12:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday, August 21, 2009from 8:00AM until service.

A native of Parks, La. and longtime resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Broussard died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 5:55AM in a local health care facility. She enjoyed playing bingo and word find. She loved being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Broussard of Loreauville; her daughters, Liz Broussard of Loreauville, Sandra Boudreaux and husband Preston, Shirley Broussard, and Louisette Broussard, all of Loreauville; her son, Ray Broussard and wife Lecia of Loreauville; her daughter-in-law, Becky Broussard of Parks; her grandchildren, Amy Theriot, Ashley Hebert, Maci Bonin, Hunter Broussard, Hillary Savoy, Chet Broussard, and Heidi Migues; her great-grandchildren, Elena Escoyne and Addison Theriot; her brothers, Alton Guidry of Parks, Wilton Guidry of St. Martinville and Tommy Guidry of Cecilia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Hunter Broussard, Ray Broussard, Chet Broussard, Timmy Guidry, Darren Guidry and Mike Guidry,

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Preston Boudreaux, Jr., Damon Theriot and Jason Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Guidry and Edolie Landry Guidry; sons, Harold, Darrell and Ronald Broussard; and one brother, Adley Guidry.
