New Iberia " A Memorial Service will be conducted for John Edward Johnny Fisher, age 59, at 11:00AM Thursday October 12, 2006 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Monsgr. Steve Testa, cousin of the deceased officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00AM till service time. He died Monday morning at his residence. Johnny was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. Survivors include his daughter Wendy Bridges Fisher and granddaughter Sophie both of Rayne, La., his mother, Melvola Broussard Fisher, a sister and brother Jody Fisher and Hugh Fisher and wife Lisa Sellers Fisher all of New Iberia, nieces Bridget and Sydney Fisher both of New Iberia, nephews, Jacob Mouton of Boston Ma., Matthew Mouton and Shea Fisher both of New Iberia, Great Niece Maddi Mouton and Great Nephew Ben Mouton both of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his father, John Sonny Fisher, his Maternal Grandparents, Leon and Aline Miguez Broussard and Paternal Grandparents, John and Sadie Bohrer Fisher. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
