Rena Boutte Broussard

Loreauville " Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Broussard, the former Rena Boutte, 97, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Mario Romero officiating.Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Loreauville.

Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at David Funeral Home of Loreauville. Visitation will resume Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A native of Loreauville and a resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Broussard died at 3:15 AM Monday, November 20,2006, at the St. Martinville Nursing Home.

She is survived by one son, Alvin Broussard and his wife Alice Poirrier, of Loreauville; seven grandchildren, Richard Broussard, Tony Broussard, Timothy Broussard, Michael Broussard, Steven Broussard, Anna Laviolette of Loreauville and Gregory Broussard of New Iberia;eighteen great-grandchildren andeight great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Broussard; parents, Sidney Boutte and Cora Dauterive Boutte; sisters, Mrs.Vince Musemeche, Anita Boutte and Mrs. Louise Oubre; brothers, George Boutte and Maurice J. Boutte; and a grandson-in-law, Jody Laviolette.

Pallbearers will be Richard Broussard, Tony Broussard, Michael Broussard, Steven Broussard, Gregory Broussard and Daniel Broussard.

David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of the arrangements.
