New Iberia"A funeral service for Mrs. Willie Pellerin, the former Rosemary Dubois, 77, of New Iberia will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Charles Langlois will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Marcellus Catholic Cemetery, Rynella. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006 from 11:00 A.M., throughout the night until service time on Saturday in David Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Pellerin passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 9:15 A.M. in her residence. Affectionately known to all who knew her as Rose , Mrs. Pellerin enjoyed shopping and caring for her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed being with family and friends. Survivors include sons, Donald Pellerin and wife, Mardra, Gaylen Pellerin and wife, Judy, and Ronald J. Pellerin and wife, Jeanne, all of New Iberia; daughters, Charmaine P. Viator and husband, Chad and Gabrielle Pellerin and companion, Claire Livingston, all of New Iberia; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Pellerin in death are her husband, Willie Pellerin; parents, George and Burcie LeBlanc Dubois; and a grandson, Woody Scott Pellerin. Serving as pallbearers are Ronald, Donald, Gaylen, Seth, and Casey Pellerin, and Chad Viator. Named as honorary pallbearers are Jacob and Justin Gautreaux. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
